During INDIGO 4th Anniversary INDIGO × Beijing Design Week = “Art Voyage”
There are no boundaries to art. It is not only in the museum, but also elsewhere “beyond the walls”. Art can be especially impressive when entering people’s daily life and being part of their experience, when you can “talk” with special forms, refrigerator can change colors, the elephant can fly, and mushroom house opens on the skeleton…
As a commercial real estate complex adjacent to 798 Art District, since its opening in 2012, INDIGO has been committed to promoting the integration of arts, culture, and commercial spaces to boost consumer experience and the quality of life.
On the 4th anniversary, INDIGO joins hands with Beijing Design Week again, together with 751D • PARK, renowned artists and designer brands at home and abroad, such as IF Art, TOSEE Art Education, and CAFA Maker, to launch INDIGO “Art Voyage” .

Ai Jing, singer-songwriter who travels extensively around the world, brings “Tree of Life”. Through the contract of black and white, it calls for the love of nature from the perspective of the globe and humanistic care. By presenting life items in an artistic manner, CAFA Maker leads people to discover the beauty of life in their encounter with art.

In addition, to break down the barriers between art and viewer, INDIGO, for the first time, adopts multimedia to provide VART audio guide to works of art at INDIGO shopping mall, ONE INDIGO and EAST, Beijing. It allows a more intuitive and vivid way for the audience to probe into the interesting story behind the works of art.
Moreover, the audience are welcome to plug-in station activities from September 17 to 23, and October 1 to 7, when you can make the jewelry of your own in CAFA Maker’s “Art and Fun” workshop, and interact with artists in preparing cocktails and your unique understanding of art in the open thematic TASTE Art Lab of Cocktail.
